Ezechiel Dort

Ezechiel Dort is the Managing Director of SMI Partners. Mr. Dort earned a BS in business administration from Bryant College. He has several years of technology and business experience. Most recently, he was a financial analyst with Fleet Investment Advisors. He worked closely with portfolio managers to establish financial goals that produced growth and profitability. Prior to Fleet Investment Advisors, Mr. Dort worked at Fidelity Investments and JP Morgan Chase. He worked directly with senior management to gather and consolidate detailed financial data to assist departments in understanding measures of financial performance.

Mr. Dort also worked with consultants and Rhode Island companies on international trade and compiled market research on global opportunities. Mr. Dort was the Founder & CEO of Book Rabbit, Inc., an online Bookstore specializing in distribution of discounted textbooks. Mr. Dort managed all aspects of daily operation. He worked closely with suppliers and publishers to ensure the growth of the company. He gave direction and leadership towards achievement of the organization philosophy, mission, and strategy as well as annual goals and objectives.
